What's a sat?

A sat (satoshi) is the smallest unit of Bitcoin. There are 100,000,000 sats in one bitcoin. Ark Node prices every task in sats so you always know the exact cost before you pay, down to a fraction of a cent.

Your wallet

Opening the app creates a free wallet automatically. No signup, no email, no password. It's just an ID stored on your device. Top it up with sats or M-Pesa, and your balance is ready for any task in the catalogue.

How you pay

Every task shows its price in sats up front. If your wallet has enough balance, it's deducted instantly and the task runs. If not, you'll get a Lightning invoice or an M-Pesa prompt. Pay it and the task continues automatically.

Lightning, in one line

The Lightning Network is a fast, cheap payment layer built on top of Bitcoin. Instead of waiting minutes for a Bitcoin confirmation, Lightning payments settle in under a second, which is what makes pay-per-task pricing practical at all.

What's stored, and where

Your wallet balance and task history live on Ark Node's servers, encrypted at rest. Your wallet ID lives only on your device. clearing your browser data or reinstalling the app means a fresh, empty wallet, so keep sats topped up only as you need them.
