What Ark Node AI is
Ark Node AI is a pay-per-task AI service. You don't create an account — opening the app creates a wallet, identified only by a randomly generated ID stored on your device. There is no subscription; you pay in Bitcoin sats (via Lightning or M-Pesa/Naira on-ramps) for each task you run, at the price shown before it runs.
Payment and charging
Sats are deducted from your wallet balance up front, before a task runs. If a task fails to produce any output — a model error, or your connection dropping before any content was generated — the sats are automatically returned to your wallet. If a task did produce content but your connection dropped before you saw it, that result is recoverable from where you left off rather than lost; it is not treated as a failed task and is not separately refunded.
Your wallet
Your wallet ID lives only in your browser's local storage. We do not require a name, email, or phone number to use the core service. If you clear your browser data, switch devices, or use the "forget wallet" option in Settings, that wallet ID — and any balance attached to it — cannot be recovered. Keep this in mind before topping up large amounts.
Acceptable use
Don't use Ark Node AI to generate content that is illegal, infringes on others' rights, or is intended to deceive or harm. We reserve the right to refuse service for requests that violate this.
No warranty
AI-generated output can be wrong. Services marked with a caveat (legal, medical, financial guidance) are general information, not professional advice — verify anything important with a licensed practitioner before relying on it.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the service evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the update.
