What we store
Your wallet balance, task history, and generated results are stored on Ark Node's servers, associated only with your wallet ID — a random identifier, not your identity. Chat conversation history is stored in your browser's local storage, not on our servers.
What we don't ask for
No name, email, or phone number is required to use the core service. If you top up via M-Pesa or Naira, the payment processor (Safaricom/TransactPay) handles your phone number or card details directly — we only receive confirmation that a payment was made and its amount.
Task content
What you send the AI (chat messages, uploaded files, generated documents) is processed to produce your result and may be briefly cached to speed up identical repeat requests. Uploaded documents used for document-chat are stored only long enough to answer your questions about them.
Your device is your account
Because your wallet ID lives only on your device, we have no way to identify or locate your data by name — only by that ID, which we cannot connect to you personally without you providing it.
Third parties
We use third-party infrastructure to operate: language model providers to generate responses, Lightning/M-Pesa/TransactPay to process payments. Each handles only what's necessary to perform their function.
